FAQs
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations can be made by the end of the previous workday (11pm). You can reschedule or a refund will be processed. Any cancellations after this time will result in a loss of deposit and a new deposit will be required to make a new appointment.
I'm running late, will I still be seen?
We allow a 10 minute grace period for all appointments. This means that you can arrive up to 10 minutes late and still be seen. Arriving anytime after this will depend on the appointments that we have that day. Unfortunately, we are not willing to affect another clients treatment due to time management. It is also important to bare in mind that although we have a grace period, this is still subtracted from your total appointment time. So although we can still perform your treatment, potentially something will be have to be missed. Arriving after the 10 minutes will result in losing the deposit for that booking and having to reschedule.
Your times seem long for your services, are they accurate?
Appointment times are calculated on our maximum service times. It is most likely that your treatment will take less time however, to avoid the service being rushed and to ensure you feel relaxed, we schedule extra time. This works for both of us so that no other clients interrupt your treatment time, we do not feel time pressured to complete a service and you know the maximum time you will be at the appointment for any other plans that you may have. Facials are the only treatment with an accurate service time, as specific steps are followed based on the treatment booked.
Can children come to the appointment?
Unfortunately, we do not allow children at appointments. As you will be busy receiving your treatment, they will be majority unsupervised. Although we do label and put away all chemicals and products, we can not ensure that children do not get into things. It only takes 2 seconds for an accident to occur and it is a risk we would rather not take.
Do I have to get a patch test done?
In short, yes. Patch tests ensure that you are able to go ahead with the treatment you have booked and reduces the chances of a potential medical emergency. Although you may be used to dying your hair or you may have previously had tinting done somewhere else, the formula of products varies from brand to brand. It is important for us to eliminate the possibility of an allergic reaction before we use use these products on you, especially when it comes to somewhere as delicate and important as your eyes. A patch test only needs to be done once, before your first treatment. It can be done at anytime up to a minimum of 24 hours prior to your booking.
The full address doesn't seem to be on your website?
As we are a home-based salon, the full address is sent to clients the day before their booking. However, the address provided is completely accurate and the post code will direct you to the accurate location so that you are within meters of the door.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and all major debit/credit cards. Card payments can be made using physical cards, as well as google pay/apple pay.
I want to pay in cash but how does that work with the deposit?
To book an appointment and pay the balance in cash, contact us directly by either email, using the contact form on the contact page of this site or give us a call. We will be happy to manually schedule your booking.
As we will not be taking a deposit, we will apply a fair-use cancellation policy to your booking. This means that the cancellation policy and grace period will still apply however, failure to contact the salon to cancel or reschedule, or not arriving on time, will result in you not being able to book in the future without paying a deposit.
